Realme 6 and 6i get Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 open beta
Realme has announced the Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 open beta program for the Realme 6 and 6i (Indian variant). Those interested can enroll in the program by navigating to their smartphone’s Settings > Software update menu and tapping on the Settings icon in the upper-right corner, then on Trial Version, and then on Apply Now. If your application is selected, you’ll receive the beta build on your device.
But, do note that your smartphone should be running the firmware with version RMX2001_11.B.63 before applying for the open beta program. And once you receive the beta update, make sure your device has at least 60% battery and 5GB of internal storage before proceeding with the installation. You can head to the source links at the end of this article for more details about the installation process.
Realme says users who are a part of the early access program need not join the open beta program since they will directly get the beta updates, and those who participated in the beta program will get the latest beta firmware as the stable build when it is rolled out for all other users.
