Although the Galaxy A52 5G is anything but old, having been released in March, Samsung is already working on a slight improvement to this model – the Galaxy A52s 5G.
The upcoming handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G, a benchmark listing has already revealed, and that promises a huge upgrade in performance when compared to the A52 5G’s Snapdragon 750G. We’re not sure if that’s the only difference between the two, but it looks like pricing will be very similar.
Samsung Galaxy A52 5G
According to a purported leaked listing from an unnamed European retailer, the Galaxy A52s 5G is bound to set you back around €450 to €500 for the version with 128GB of storage. Right now, our price tool shows the A52 5G going for €446 and some change, so the new phone should be priced about the same as the old one wherever it’s going to be sold.
Hopefully it won’t have any downgrades or ‘sidegrades’ paired with that SoC upgrade, in which case it’s shaping up to be a better value buy than the A52 5G was – that is, of course, if this leak pans out. Anyway, the Galaxy A52s 5G is said to debut in Europe first, and then make its way to India a few weeks later. It will be offered in Awesome Mint, Awesome White, Awesome Black, and Awesome Violet.
